To prepare interested and capable MSR and PhD candidates to gain admission to full-time MSR and PhD programmes, a preparatory Research Fellows programme has been launched by the Amar Nath and Shashi Khosla School of Information Technology wherein selected candidates will be offered a 6-12 RA-like position following which they can be admitted to the programme based on further selection interviews and recommendation of the faculty mentor. Candidates must apply under specific project positions floated by a faculty mentor. There will be no GATE requirement. The goal will be to gain familiarity with the research process, publish papers, and be better prepared to move towards a full-time PhD or MSR programme.
